Arnold
Butler
d. July 19, 2026
Greenville, SC— Arnold Paul Butler Jr., lovingly known as Arnie, Larry, and Auwau, a devoted family man, respected leader, and selfless servant to his community, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, at the age of 77.
A hardworking professional, he dedicated much of his career as a service manager for Kodak. Known for his tireless work ethic, he spent countless miles on the road, sacrificing his own comfort to ensure his family was provided for. Despite a demanding schedule, he always prioritized his loved ones, never failing to make time to visit his parents.
He is remembered by colleagues and employees as an exceptional leader who deeply cared for his team, often going above and beyond to help them navigate life’s challenges. His quiet strength, calm spirit, and reassuring presence brought peace to those around him, while his signature laugh and comforting smile could instantly light up any room.
He found great joy in life's simple pleasures, from cheering on his favorite sports teams—the Cowboys, Celtics, and Yankees—to listening to his favorite music by the Eagles. Above all, his life was defined by his extraordinary generosity. He lived by the simple question, “How can I help?”, always putting the needs of others before his own.
He is survived by his faithful wife, his loving children and grandchildren, his devoted sisters, and many family and friends, who will forever carry forward his legacy of kindness, humility, and unwavering integrity.
