Aubrey was a devoted husband of 47 years to his wife, Linda Peterson Hayden, and a loving father to his children. He is survived by his son, Gregory Hayden , daughter Kimberly Hayden.  Jerry A. Nix was loved as his son. Aubrey bore the loss of his daughter Jacquline Michelle Whipple with a strength that comforted those around him. He was preceded in death by his sister Judy Ann Eller and brother Joseph Hayden, whose memories he held close to his heart.

His professional journey was marked by a relentless work ethic and a commitment to excellence. For over two decades, Aubrey navigated the roads as a truck driver, earning numerous safe driving awards for his impeccable record. Transitioning to a role that highlighted his leadership skills, he excelled as a Maintenance Supervisor, where his peers recognized him with the distinguished service manager of the year award. Aubrey's passion for safety and well-being led him to become a Partner in Prevention, dedicating eight years to this vital cause. His later years were spent at DSI Security for BMW, where his dedication to security was acknowledged through many awards.

Aubrey's interests were as diverse as they were engaging. He was an avid traveler, finding joy in the discovery of new places. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enthusiasm for hiking and camping, activities that allowed him to appreciate the beauty of nature. A devout Christian, Aubrey found solace and strength in studying the Bible and was often moved by the power of Christian music. His hobbies included the intricate crafting and operating of remote cars, planes, trucks, and boats, showcasing his dexterity and attention to detail.
