Austin Blake Smith

January 12, 2000 — April 16, 2024

Greenville, SC

Austin Blake Smith, known affectionately as Austin to his friends and family, left this world too soon on April 16, 2024, at the age of 24. Born on January 12, 2000, in Greenville, South Carolina, Austin was a beloved son, father, boyfriend, brother, uncle, and friend whose vibrant spirit and infectious laughter brought joy to all who knew him.

Austin's life was a testament to the love and bonds of family. He was the cherished son of Rudy Smith and Angela Lawson, a devoted and loving boyfriend to Alyssa Bobo, and a proud and doting father to his children, Auna Leign "Pnut," Alleen "Tator," and Remington "Little big man." His role as a brother to Jennifer (Ben) McCartha and Kayla Smith was filled with laughter and support, and he was an adored uncle to Olivia and Avalee McCartha and Ayden Smith. Austin's family circle extended to his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins, who will miss his presence at family gatherings where he was often the life of the party.

Austin's passion for life was evident in everything he did. His interests were as colorful and diverse as his personality. Austin had a special place in his heart for his children, and he cherished every moment spent with them, especially braiding the girls' hair and sharing his love for Spiderman. His favorite color was blue, a hue as deep and vibrant as his character.

A man of many talents, Austin had a love for Dodge Rams and a talent for working on cars, a skill he honed alongside his daddy, Rudy. His sense of humor was unmatched, always joking and ready to lighten the mood. Austin's musicality shone through in his love for singing, a joy he shared with everyone around him.

Austin's adventurous spirit led him to explore and enjoy life to the fullest. He was a loving and thoughtful individual, always considering the happiness and well-being of those he cared for. His presence at family get-togethers will be profoundly missed, as will the warmth and laughter he brought to such occasions.

The legacy Austin leaves behind is one of love, laughter, and the importance of cherishing every moment with those we hold dear. He will be remembered as a beacon of light in the lives of his family and friends, a source of constant love and joy. Austin's adventurous heart and loving nature will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Austin's journey on earth has ended, but his story will continue to be told through the memories he created with his loved ones. As we say goodbye to Austin Blake Smith, we celebrate the time we had with him and the indelible mark he has left on our hearts.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Austin will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were touched by his generous spirit. May he rest in peace, knowing that his love lives on in the many lives he touched.
