Betty is predeceased by her loving husband of 30 years, Lester Bruns. Betty's role as a mother, stepmother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was one she cherished above all else. She is survived by her devoted children, Chandra Goodson (Kendal), Dawn Simon (Christopher), and Evan Farner (Christina); stepchildren, Kris Fink (David) and Jeff Bruns; and her adored grandchildren, Savannah (Rob) Coote, Bailey Simon, Matthew Goodson, Garrett (Aaliyah) Farner, Haley Farner (Logan), Brennan (Julieanne) Fink, Andrew (Cady) Fink, and Makenna Fink. Her great-grandchildren, Saige Gustad, Robert Coote, Bryce Farner, Karlyn Bruns, and Sean Fink, also held a special place in her heart. She is also survived by her brothers Charles Crowley (Marilyn) and James Crowley (Julie).
A woman of many interests, Betty's zest for life was contagious. She relished the opportunity to attend plays with her friends, finding joy and laughter in the shared experience of live theater. Her adventurous spirit was evident in her love for junking with her family, where she found treasures in the most unexpected places. Traveling was another of Betty's passions, as she eagerly explored new destinations, embracing the beauty and diversity of the world.
Her mornings were often spent in the warm company of friends over coffee and breakfast, a ritual that reflected her love for community and conversation. Betty's faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she found solace and strength in attending church.
