She was the heart of her family, a role she embraced with every fiber of her being. Betty's siblings, Bobby and Clarence Turner, along with her sisters Polly Long, Rita Hughes, and Wanda Edwards. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Samuel Turner, Rufus "Hoot" Turner, and Junior Turner, her sister Imogene Ashley, and her beloved parents, Goldie Mae Hickey and Thomas Turner.
Betty's legacy is carried on by her loving daughters, Brenda F. Hipps and Sharon R. Rines, who will forever cherish the wisdom and warmth their mother imparted. Her grandchildren, Julia L. Rines and Dillan Rines, will miss their grandmother's unwavering support and the stories she shared. Betty's love for her family was her guiding light, and it shone brightly in every action and word.
