Betty Lou Page, a beacon of love and laughter, passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on March 18, 1929, Betty Lou was a woman whose life was a testament to the joy and faith she carried in her heart. She was a cherished sister, aunt, and friend to many, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Betty Lou was the beloved sister of Mary Page Taylor, and was survived by 13 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Norma Page Raloff, her brother William "Bill" Ervin Page Jr, and her parents, Daisy Roper Page and William Ervin Page Sr.
From a young age, Betty Lou's life was filled with music. She had a natural talent for playing the piano and her fingers danced over the keys with grace and ease in her younger years. Her love for singing hymns was known to all, and her voice could often be heard uplifting the spirits of those around her. Betty Lou's sense of humor was infectious, and she had a unique ability to make people laugh, bringing light and joy into every room she entered.
A woman of deep faith, Betty Lou loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a prayer warrior, always ready to offer prayers for anyone in need, and her faith-filled presence was a source of comfort and strength to her family and friends. Her unwavering trust in God's plan was an inspiration to many, and her devotion was evident in the way she lived her life.
Betty Lou will be remembered as a loving, funny, and faith-filled woman. Her laughter, her prayers, and her unconditional love have left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she touched. As we say goodbye to Betty Lou, we also celebrate the joy she brought into our lives. Her spirit, a blend of compassion, humor, and devout faith, will continue to live on in the memories of those who loved her.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 11AM-12PM, at the Cremation Society of SC - Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611, followed by a graveside service starting at 1PM, at Greenville Memorial Gardens, 7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673.
