Bonnie Parker, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her faith community, passed away on May 22, 2026. Born on September 9, 1945, Bonnie lived a life marked by devotion, creativity, and a deep love for her family and church.

As a Sunday school teacher and the organist for her church, Bonnie shared her faith with dedication and warmth, touching the lives of many in her congregation. Her love for Jesus was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through every season with grace and strength.

Bonnie’s creative spirit found joy in quilting, sewing, crafting, and reading. She was an active member of the Joy Fellowship in Easley, South Carolina, where she embraced fellowship and service with a joyful heart. Her creations, whether made with needle and thread or crafted in other forms, were reflections of her loving and faith-filled nature.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Richard Parker and his wife Jill, Jennifer Harris and her husband Ronnie, Jonathan Parker and his wife Carla, and James Parker. Their lives are enriched by her enduring legacy of love and faith.

Bonnie’s grandchildren, who carried forward her spirit, include Richard Parker, Jr., Lauren Parker, Erica Chandler, Parker Monroe, Landon Monroe, Jessie Pusey and her husband Alex, Emma Hardin-Parker, Carleigh Parker, and Caroline Parker. Her great-grandchildren, Lyla Rae Chandler and Jack Wesley Carroll, also hold a special place in the hearts of the Parker family as living testaments to her warmth and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lanny E. Parker. His memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew the profound bond they shared.
