Brianna Nichole Morrison

Brianna Morrison, known lovingly as Brandon and using he/him pronouns, passed away on September 8, 2026, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, at the age of 25. Born on May 8, 2001, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Brandon lived a life marked by warmth, intelligence, humor, and devotion to the people he loved. Those who knew him will remember his quick wit, his thoughtful nature, and the creative spirit that shaped the way he moved through the world.

Brandon was the beloved child of Phillip Morrison (Denise) and Sheri Johnson. He was a cherished sibling to Tiffany Harbison and her partner Marquis, Lila Perez-Segura and her partner Ezra, Victor Perez-Segura and his partner Payton, Jessica Bustos and her husband Anthony, and Susan Shaw. He was deeply connected to his grandfather Joey Morrison, his uncle Chris Morrison and Jan, his uncle Joe Johnson and Sam, his uncle Trey Johnson and his partner Candice, and his deceased grandparents Linda Diana and Thurman Johnson. He was also preceded in death by his aunt Holly Johnson. Brandon’s family was the center of his life, and he took great pride in the many roles he held within it. He was a devoted uncle to Marquis Jamal, Ryan Payseur, Paxton Bustos, Asher Bustos, Annabelle Lunceford, Aspen Dellinger, and Wesley Dellinger. He also helped raise Emanuel Sears, Nathaniel Sears, and Alyssia Sears, offering them love, guidance, and steady support that reflected the depth of his heart. He leaves behind many friends who became like family and who will forever treasure the laughter and loyalty he shared so freely.

Brandon attended South Pointe High School, where he graduated with honors, and later continued his education at Winthrop University. He carried himself with determination and purpose, and his strong work ethic became evident in his professional life. He served as a Regional Manager for Speedy Oil, where he was respected for his leadership, analytical mind, and ability to handle responsibility with confidence and care. His coworkers and colleagues knew him as someone who could be counted on, someone who brought both competence and humanity to every task he took on.

Brandon’s interests reflected the many dimensions of his personality. He loved playing the cello, and music was a huge part of his life, offering him both expression and comfort. He also enjoyed bowling, video games, Legos, fishing, and cooking, and he found joy in the simple and meaningful moments spent with family and friends. Whether he was sharing a meal, telling a joke, or enjoying time with loved ones, Brandon had a way of making ordinary moments feel special. His humor came naturally, and his creativity and analytical mind allowed him to see the world in unique and memorable ways. 

Those who knew Brandon will remember him as funny, analytical, and creative. He had a gift for making people laugh, a thoughtful approach to the challenges of life, and an imagination that brought color to everything he did. He was generous with his time, loyal in his relationships, and deeply committed to the people who mattered most to him. His presence was a source of comfort and joy, and his absence will be felt profoundly by all who loved him. Especially his long term friends Antonio Williams and Mollyann Simpson.

Brandon’s life, though far too brief, was filled with love, purpose, and meaningful connections. He leaves behind a legacy of devotion to family, dedication to his work, and a spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, in the songs he loved, in the laughter he inspired, and in the countless lives he helped shape through his kindness and care.
