Bubba Eugene Barentine, born December 8, 1973, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026. He was a dedicated machine operator at Kloeckner Metals, where his skill and commitment were deeply valued. Bubba was known for his sharp wit, passionate nature, and impressive handiwork, qualities that endeared him to all who knew him.

Throughout his life, Bubba found joy in the simple pleasures of fishing, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, riding motorcycles, hunting, camping, and engaging in video games. These hobbies reflected not only his zest for life but also his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors.

Bubba is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Barentine; his daughters Heather Phillips (Nick) and Ashley Turner (Becca Martin); and his sons Brandon Turner (Laura) and Jesse Barentine. He also leaves behind cherished grandchildren, Emma Phillips and Declan Phillips, who brought immense joy to his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Wanda Safley.

A memorial service to honor Bubba’s life will be held on April 13, 2026, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Cremation Society of South Carolina - Westville Funerals, located at 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611.

Bubba Eugene Barentine will be remembered not only for his humor and passion but for the deep love and care he showed those around him. His presence will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know him.
