Carroll Wofford Lawter, born October 3, 1942, passed away January 4, 2018. Carroll was a loving Papa, father, and avid outdoorsman. He is predeceased by his parents N.B. & Pearl Lawter, and a brother, Malcolm Lawter. He is survived by his daughters, Leandra Schwanda and Valerie Lawter, a sister, Catherine Hickman, and his caregiver, Lavada Byers. He was the proud grandfather of 5 grandchildren: James Lawter, Shawn Peace, Xander Freeman, and Savana Kate & Faith Schwanda.
The family will host a celebration of his life at Parkway Freewill Baptist Church on Saturday January 13, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. – 3615 Parris Bridge Road in Boiling Springs. There will be a luncheon immediately following.
