IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cecil Lee
Manley
February 17, 1963 – January 17, 2026
Cecil "Lee" Manley, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on January 17, 2026, in Easley, South Carolina. Born on February 17, 1963, in Greenville, South Carolina, Lee embraced life with warmth and simplicity.
Lee worked for Metromont, where he formed lifelong friendships, and he later started his own business, “Manley’s Clean Up and Grading.”
Outside of work, Lee was a man of simple pleasures. He found joy in fishing and spending time on the lake, and he proudly supported the Carolina Gamecocks. Lee treasured moments spent in the company of his family and grandkids, and was always eager to share stories from his past that brought laughter and life lessons.
Lee is survived by his loving wife, Melanie Manley, and his children: daughter Carington Manley and step-daughter Britney Bardon (Chad). He was a devoted grandfather to Markus, Liah, Carina, Cody, Hudson, and Levi. Lee also leaves behind his siblings, Phil Manley (Sheila) and Misty Badilla, his uncles, Ronnie and Roy Raines, along with a host of nieces and nephews who will miss his presence dearly.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kelly Manley, and his parents, Cecil Lee Manley, Sr. and Syble Manley, both of whom are remembered with deep affection. Lee is also survived by his cherished dog, Sassy, and a close-knit community of friends and family from Lake Greenwood and Easley, SC.
Lee Manley’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, as they remember his love of family and the simplicity that he valued so deeply. His impact on his community and loved ones is immeasurable, and he will be profoundly missed.
A special celebration of life will be held at a later date on Lake Greenwood.
