Charles "Scooter" Anthony Adkins

Charles "Scooter" Anthony Adkins went to meet his Heavenly Father on November 15, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 54. Scooter will be forever remembered by his devoted wife Linda Diane Broome Adkins and by his loving mother Deborah Gillespie Adkins Moore. Scooter is also survived by his sister Kelley (Patrick) Peden, grandchildren Brandon, Tyson and Adelynn Adkins, and Callen (Adkins) Keech, as well as his nieces and nephews Lindsay, Steven, Kimberly and Shawn. Scooter is predeceased by his cherished son Todd Anthony Adkins.
Scooter, a graduate of Woodmont High School, enjoyed fishing, camping, working in his yard, as well as spending time with his family, friends and dearly beloved dog, Bambi. The family of Scooter would like to affectionately thank the nurses on the third and fifth floor of St. Francis Downtown, as well as a very special thank you to a dear, lifetime friend, Cathy Lopreste.
A memorial service may be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Scooter's honor to the Cancer Society of Greenville at 113 Mills Avenue.
