Charles Howard Blocker, Jr.
August 4, 1947 — July 26, 2016
Charles Howard Blocker Jr. also know as "Tex" or "C.H.",at the age of 68 passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours of Tuesday July 26, 2016. He was born to Charles Howard Blocker Sr and Joanne Nidak Blocker in Charleston SC on August 4, 1947.
Charles was a Vietnam Veteran who served 2 tours as a Riverboat Captain. He was a was a very humble man, who worked hard all his life. A devoted Husband, loving Father, and caring Grandfather. A simple man with a heart of gold, he had a wonderful spirit and loved to make people laugh. He loved his Craft,(woodworking, carpentry, construction.), Fishing and Music.
Charles is survived by his brother Micheal (Sandra) Blocker, son Brandon Blocker, and daughter Angela (Lisa) McHerring, nephews Joey Blocker and Danny Blocker, grandchildren Samone and Mytorius McHerring, Gavin Fleming, Alexis and Charlie Blocker. Also his Aunt Virginia and many Cousins.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his loving wife Susan L. Blocker, son Steven Blocker, nephew David Blocker and grandson Devlyn Fleming.
A celebration will be held on August 4th 2016 from 4-9 pm please contact the family for Details.
