Cindy Diane Burnside, a loving daughter, sister, mother and friend passed away on March 31, 2026. Born on November 26, 1962, Cindy loved arts and crafts, gardening and adventures. Cindy’s warm personality made her a pleasure to those close to her.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Cathy Towe (Rick); her daughters, Carolyn Nicole and Shannon Leigh Burnside; and her grandchildren, Cameron Burnside and Zaleigh MacCollister. Family ties extended through her niece Cheryl Banks, her nephew Cecil Fowler, and great nephew Jason Banks, all of whom held Cindy dear. In addition, Cindy shared a special bond with Chris Burnside, whose presence provided comfort and companionship. Her sister-in-law, Carrie Burnside Orr and their entire family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Carolyn Whitfield.
