Cynthia Anne Tucker, affectionately known as Cindy to her friends and family, passed away on June 30, 2025, in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Cindy's warmth and vivacity blossomed from a young age, traits that she carried throughout her life, touching the hearts of all who knew her.

Cindy's journey through life was one marked by love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to her family. She was the beloved wife of Chris Tucker, with whom she shared 43 years of cherished memories. Together, they built a life full of joy and companionship, often seen dancing the night away, a testament to their enduring love and zest for life.

Cindy was predeceased by her father, Verdell Sexton, and her mother, Virginia Madding Marshall. Her legacy continues through her loving family, including her devoted husband, Chris, her children, Matthew L. Tucker, married to Vanessa, and Brandon L. Tucker, married to Anastashia. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Ari, Ethan, Xavier, Enzo, Skie, Harper, Sawyer, and Asher, each of whom brought immeasurable joy to her life.

Her brother-in-law, Michael L. Tucker, niece, Reagan Tucker, and mother-in-law, Margaret Tucker, also survive her. Cindy is also survived by her siblings Brian and Anna Sexton, their children and family, Steve Sexton, his children and family, as well as her sister Jennifer Sexton. Although she is predeceased by her brother Brad Sexton, his children and family will continue to cherish her along with her extended family and friends, they all will forever cherish the memories they created with Cindy.

Cindy's life was one of selfless love and courageous spirit. She was the heart of her family, always putting others before herself and ensuring that her loved ones were cared for. Her garden was a place of solace and beauty, where she spent countless hours nurturing the earth and cultivating a space of tranquility and reflection.

An outgoing and sociable individual, Cindy never missed an opportunity to gather with friends, whether it was for a casual get-together or a grand celebration. Her infectious laughter and genuine interest in others' lives made her a joy to be around.

Cindy's courage was evident not only in how she lived her life but also in how she faced its challenges. She met adversity with grace and determination, inspiring those around her to do the same.
