He is survived by his daughter, Mable Darlene Kennedy-Owens (Dawn Kennedy-Owens), and his son, James Robin Owens. Dale's family also includes his ex-wife, Peggy D. Miller, his brothers, Jerry Owens (Tina Owens), Wayne Owens, and Tim Owens (Rowena Owens).
