Darlene lived a life centered on the people she cherished most. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends. Her warm spirit and gentle nature made her a comforting presence in the lives of those around her, and she was known for the steady care and encouragement she offered so freely. She carried herself with grace and compassion, and her life reflected the values she held dear each day.
She is survived by her children, Rhonda Gorski and her husband Ryan, Varian Green and his wife Holly, and Angela Sweet. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Josh, Chantell Danderand, Connor Gorski, Cassi Gorski, Jennifer Otwell, Abby Otwell, Braden Cherkas, Brodey Cherkas, Simone and Varian Jr., and Hazeli Sweet, all of whom brought her immense pride and happiness. Darlene treasured each of them deeply and found great joy in watching her family grow through the years.
Darlene was preceded in death by her sisters, Tina Lucart and Judy Hurt, as well as her father, Carmen Lecato, and her mother, Darlene Lecato. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life, and she carried the love of her family with her always. The bonds she shared with those who went before her were an important part of the story of her life, and she honored them through the way she lived with strength and devotion.
A retired personal banker, Darlene was respected for her professionalism, reliability, and kind manner. Her work reflected the same qualities that defined her personal life, and she was appreciated by those who had the privilege of working with her. She approached her responsibilities with care and integrity, and her steady presence left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike.
Her church was also an important part of her life, and she found comfort and fellowship in her faith community. Darlene valued the friendships and connections she made there, and her church family was among the many circles of people who benefited from her kindness and sincere heart. She lived her faith through her actions, offering encouragement, compassion, and a listening ear to others.
Above all, Darlene will be remembered for the love she gave so generously. She was loving in her relationships, kind in her words and actions, and thoughtful in the way she cared for others. Her family and friends will remember her for the warmth of her smile, the sincerity of her presence, and the quiet strength she carried throughout her life. Though she will be deeply missed, the example she set and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
