David Wayne Samples, 76 of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late John Samples and Helen Bearden Samples.

He is survived by a daughter, Azzie "Marty" Fitts, one grandson, Randy Fitts (Ashley), two great grandchildren, Luke and Lori Fitts, one brother, Dale Samples, two sisters, Patsy Miller and Tammy Kent, one step grandson, Randall Velasco, numerous neices and nephews, and his special little dog, Boo Boo. He was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Sosebee. 

The family will be at their respective homes.
