Debra Lynne Sheridan, affectionately known as Deb to her friends and family, passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024, in Easley, SC. Born on September 7, 1965, in Greenville, SC, Deb's life was a testament to her kind spirit, generous heart, and creative soul.
Deb graduated from Easley High School, where she cultivated her creativity and free spirit. After graduation, she embarked on a fulfilling career as a jeweler and became a certified gemologist. This allowed her to channel her creativity and keen eye for beauty into cherished pieces that brought joy to many.
Unfortunately, a serious illness ended her career as a jeweler. She then focused on her other passion: animal rights. She devoted her time to animal welfare, tirelessly working to ensure that animals were treated with the respect and care they deserved. She provided a sanctuary with food and shelter for many animals that would have otherwise been euthanized.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Deb will recall her as a person who lived life to the fullest. Her insatiable curiosity and larger-than-life spirit will continue to inspire those who were touched by her.
Deb was preceded in death by her loving parents, Jimmy and Brenda B. Sheridan. She is survived by her uncles, Dell Bloodworth and Don Sheridan, who will miss her deeply. Her family, friends, and all who knew her will remember Deb as a beacon of kindness and generosity.
She will be profoundly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Slabtown Baptist Church with Pastor Rex Simmons officiating.
