Dianne Ellen Crowley, age 63, of Greenville, SC, passed away on May 10, 2026. She was born on October 9, 1962, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Joan Ellen Gramelspacher Almasy and Donald Almasy.

Dianne graduated from Dean Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh and built a distinguished 43-year career as a process piping designer and field engineer. Her expertise contributed to critical nuclear, pharmaceutical, power and chemical plant projects across the country.

Dianne possessed an extraordinary zest for life and embraced every soul she encountered with genuine warmth. Though petite in stature, her capacity for love was boundless, carrying a heart far grander than any giant. She will be profoundly remembered for her vibrant spirit, her brilliant engineering mind, and an unwavering, fierce devotion to her faith, the Catholic Church, Jesus Christ her Savior, and her family and friends. Central to her life was her deep, enduring love for her husband, Duane (Marty), who cherished her just as deeply. From the very day they met, the two were entirely inseparable, sharing a beautiful bond that united them in their professional work, their everyday play, and their adventures traveling the world together, right up until the day of her passing.

Dianne found immense joy in life’s everyday pleasures and hobbies. She was a passionate cook who loved creating meals for those she held dear. She cherished family camping trips with friends and loved ones, a tradition that evolved over the years from roughing it in tents to the comfort of campers. Her favorite adventures included traveling to the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Tennessee, relaxing on beach trips, and taking road trips to visit beloved family members across Vermont, Florida, and Pennsylvania. Her immense love for animals was well known; she deeply adored her dogs and cats, ensuring they lived incredibly spoiled and happy lives.

Dianne’s family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her friend, Tracy Lee Bridwell, for the profound care, love, and unwavering friendship shared throughout Dianne's illness.

Dianne is survived by her husband, Duane Martin Crowley, and her son, Steven Almasy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joan and Donald Almasy, along with her brothers, Daniel and Michael Almasy.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church in Winooski, Vermont, followed by internment in the church cemetery, (date to be determined).

A Celebration of Life will take place at Just One More, 2714 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville, SC 29615 on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 1:00pm.
