Donnie Ray Evans, age 74, of Joanna, SC, passed away, Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at NHC of Clinton.

He was born September 26, 1951 in Clinton, SC, and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alvin and Evelyn Evans of Joanna. Donnie was a graduate of Clinton High School, Class of 1970. He was a proud Veteran, having served for 22 years in the Army and National Guard. Before his retirement he was employed with Timken and Metal Masters.

He was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church in Kinards, where he served as Deacon.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Evans and their children, Kevin Evans (Keshia) of Clinton, Traci Smith (Randall) of Taylors, and April Geddings of Joanna; his brother, Clevie Evans (Debbie) of Joanna; his six grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Donnie is preceded in death by his brothers, Ricky, Ronnie, and Ken Evans.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 17, 2025 at 4:00 PM, at Fairview Baptist Church in Kinards with Rev. Sam Cox officiating.

The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the Church.

The family will be at the home, 103 James Road, Joanna, SC 29351.
