Edward J. Bischoffberger, , passed away on November 23, 2025, at McCalls Hospice House in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Born on January 11, 1947, in Freedom, Pennsylvania, Edward’s journey through life was marked by the love and connections he cherished with his family and friends.

Ed embarked on a successful career in transportation sales, where his expertise and dedication earned him respect among peers and clients alike. His influence in the industry was felt far and wide, illustrating his commitment to excellence and integrity.

Beyond his professional life, Ed was passionate about golf and was an esteemed member of the Kappa Alpha Order. These interests brought him joy and allowed him to foster friendships throughout the years.

Ed is survived by his loving wife, Susan Spitzer; his stepdaughter, Angela James; his granddaughter, Averi Langley; and his siblings, Jo Rodeheffer, Jan Davis, and Richard Bischoffberger. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he was immensely proud of the family he nurtured and loved.

A funeral service to honor Ed’s life will be held on December 4, 2025, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Greenville, South Carolina, beginning at 2:00 PM, followed by a visitation at 3:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to join in remembrance of a remarkable man whose legacy will undoubtedly continue to resonate through the lives he touched.
