Elizabeth Margareta Piehler Andersson, born on January 6, 1932, in Neunburg vorm Wald, Germany, passed away on February 8, 2026 in Clemson, SC. Elizabeth's journey was a testament to resilience and dedication. In 1954, she bravely immigrated to the United States, embarking on a new chapter filled with opportunities.

Elizabeth had several jobs during her lifetime, in each of which she demonstrated her remarkable work ethic, forthrightness, and dedication to helping people feel welcome and appreciated.

Beyond her career, Elizabeth was an accomplished seamstress and crocheter, dedicating her time to crafts that brought joy not only to herself but also to those around her.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Kirsten Andersson Medlock and Toren Nils Andersson (Lynne), as well as her grandsons, Stephen Nils Andersson and Jim F. Andersson. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ingmar Nils Andersson and her parents, Hans and Else Piehler.

As we celebrate the life of Elizabeth Andersson, we reflect on her unwavering spirit and the enduring love she shared with her family and friends. In a life filled with extraordinary challenges, she met each one with dignity and humor - even the especially difficult final chapter, as she battled Alzheimer's Disease. As the dedicated staff at The Barclay Memory Care wing can testify, she kept her sense of humor to the very end.

In lieu of a funeral, the family will have a small private memorial in remembrance of the life of Elizabeth Andersson.
