Preceded in death by her parents, Helen and George Mansfield; her husband, Robert Bairley; and sister, Jeanne Knipp. Survived by her brothers George and Henry Mansfield; children Bob, Paul (Janet), Bill (Michele), Jeanne (Steve), and Tom (Cheryl); and grandchildren Jessi (KC), Valerie, Alan, Kim (Jonathan), Jeff (Elyse), Sean, Elizabeth, Bonnie (Jason), and Kathryn; great-grandchildren Jeffrey, Jillian, Jacob, Jocelyn, Ada, Braden, Sienna, Lillian, Caden, Camden, Scarlett, Brody, Dylan, Jackie, Ava, and Libby; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
She loved art, music, reading, gardening, sudoku, cards, sewing, crocheting, tennis and football. She was a champion for civil rights, and later a Florida ombudsman of 18 years. She loved to sketch, and dabbled in charcoal, watercolor and oils. Her true talent was a master at tickling the ivories, playing all the classical preludes, sonatas and concertos of Bach, Beethoven and Debussy.
