Elizabeth Anne (Hone) Linn, beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend, passed away on March 11, 2026, in Greer, South Carolina. Born in Flushing, New York, Beth was a beacon of kindness, humor, and love throughout her life.

Beth’s most treasured role was that of a loving, supportive, and nurturing mother. Her children, Nancy, Bill, and John, draw comfort from the rich and lasting memories she created with them. She was a devoted presence in their lives, always finding time to show up—cheering from the sidelines, attending games, and celebrating every moment that mattered. Her love, encouragement, and steady presence will always be remembered.

As a grandmother, Beth’s legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Matthew, Halli, Owen, and Harper. She took immense joy in their lives and accomplishments, often sharing heartfelt stories and treasured photographs.

Beth devoted many years to quiet and faithful volunteerism in her church and community. Whether folding church bulletins for hours, helping at the food pantry, or ushering at the Greenville Theatre, her generosity and willingness to serve touched many lives.

Beth also deeply treasured the lifelong friendships that enriched her life. The shared memories, laughter, and enduring support of dear friends meant the world to her.

Elizabeth’s life was marked by deep love for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herman Linn, her partner in life; her parents, William and Lucy Hone; and her sister, Audrey D’Amato.

A service will be held on Saturday, March 21 at 2:30 p.m. at Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, 2600 Wade Hampton Blvd., Greenville, SC 29615.
