Faye June Fahlbusch, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully departed this life on January 2, 2026, in Greer, South Carolina. Born on October 5, 1937, in Daisy, Tennessee, Faye lived a life that touched many hearts and illuminated the souls of those fortunate enough to know her.

Over four decades, Faye dedicated herself to her career as a waitress, exemplifying unparalleled devotion and kindness to every customer who walked through the doors where she worked. Her friendly demeanor and generous spirit made her not only a beloved server but also a friend to countless regulars who fondly remember her warm smile and genuine care.

Faye was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church in Greer, SC, where her unwavering faith not only guided her actions but also inspired others in her community. She found solace and joy in her hobbies, turning to word search puzzles and cross-stitching as forms of relaxation and creative expression.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever remember her nurturing love and compassionate spirit. Faye is survived by her son, J.R. Blair (Lynn); her daughters, Valerie Champion (Mark) and Dawn Ricketts (Erick); her sister, Yvonne Harris (Wendell); her grandchildren, Lindsay Shory, Cory Blair, Cody Blair, Jackie Champion, Christopher Ricketts, and Caleb Ricketts; as well as her eleven great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Jones, and Gladys Jones, and nine siblings, T.J. Jones, Betty Murphy, Judy Hurst, Arliss Jones, W.A. Jones, Linwyde Jones, Herbie Jones, Mildred McPherson, and Richard Jones.

Faye's legacy is one filled with loving memories, shared laughter, and the warmth of a spirit that embraced everyone with open arms. She joins her beloved family members who have passed before her, their welcoming embrace awaits her in the heavens, and her infinite love will forever remain a guiding light for those she left behind.

In times of sorrow, we take comfort in remembering Faye's generous heart, her unwavering faith, and the countless lives she impacted. While she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will continue to thrive within the hearts of her family and friends, echoing the love she radiated so freely throughout her remarkable life.

Family will be holding a private service at a later date.
