Faye Pruitt, a beacon of love and faith, passed away on December 1, 2025. Born on March 6, 1963, Faye's life was a testament to the power of kindness, devotion, and the joy of living a life anchored in love for family and Jesus.
Faye's journey began as a cherished sister to Sandy Bayne, Teresa Harvey, and David Jewell, and over the years, her family blossomed with the love of her life, Greg Pruitt, by her side. Together, they raised a beautiful family, including their children Ray Bayne (Mandy Bayne), Timothy Bayne (Lindsey Bayne), Randy Cox (Hillary Cox), and Brooke Pruitt. Faye's role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply, and she showered Hunter, Kaiya, Talon, Avery, Grady, Grayson, Gavin, Blakely, and Cash with unconditional love and wisdom.
A dedicated Sunday school teacher and servant at Lima Baptist Church, Faye's passion for her faith was evident in her commitment to teaching others about Jesus. Her love for her church community was a cornerstone of her life, and she inspired many through her unwavering faith and the melodious hymns she sang with grace.
Faye's interests were a reflection of her love for life and the simple pleasures it offered. She found joy in spending time with her family and grandchildren, creating memories that would become their treasured legacy. With Greg, she explored new restaurants, an adventure they both relished. Thrifting was more than a hobby for Faye; it was a treasure hunt that brought her immense joy, and she had a unique talent for finding beauty in the most unexpected places.
The front porch of her home was a haven for Faye, a place where she would sit and reflect, often with Greg by her side, enjoying the tranquility of nature and the companionship they shared. It was here that many family and friends were welcomed with open arms and hearts full of love.
Faye's life was a beautiful melody of joy, faith, and love—a song that will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy is one of compassion, service, and the unshakable belief in the goodness of others. As we bid farewell to Faye Pruitt, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a soul that will forever inspire us to live with kindness, faith, and love.
