Flora Delaine Oxentine, affectionately known as Delaine to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025, at the age of 75, in Greenville, South Carolina. Born on August 13, 1950, Delaine's life was a testament to her unwavering faith, her generosity, and her dedication to caring for others.

Delaine's early years in Travelers Rest laid the foundation for a life characterized by service and kindness. She grew up as the cherished daughter of the late Robert Preston Styles and Lina Maxine Gosnell Styles. She is survived by her brother Steve Styles, her son, Marc Wilson(Sharon), as well as her beloved daughter, Heather Oxentine(Ryan). She was a proud grandmother to Brandon, Katie, Bella, Sophia, and Jameson, who brought immense joy and laughter into her life.

Professionally, Delaine dedicated herself to the noble calling of a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her career was more than just a job; it was a reflection of her innate desire to care for those in need. Her gentle touch, warm smile, and comforting presence were a source of solace to many during their most vulnerable moments. Delaine's colleagues and patients alike will remember her as a beacon of light within the healthcare community.

Delaine's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. A devout Christian, she found strength and solace in reading her devotionals and living out her beliefs through acts of kindness and charity. Her faith was not just a personal sanctuary but also a means through which she connected with and uplifted those around her.

Beyond her professional and spiritual commitments, Delaine was an avid movie enthusiast, relishing the stories and characters that leaped from the screen. Shopping was another of her pleasures. Delaine took joy in finding the perfect gifts to brighten the days of her friends and family, a true reflection of her generous spirit, and of course, Delaine's love for cats was well-known.

Those who knew Delaine will remember her as a thoughtful and faith-filled woman. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and a friend to all whose lives she touched.

As we bid farewell to Delaine Oxentine, we celebrate a life well lived and a legacy of love and service. Delaine's memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of her family, friends, and all the lives she touched with her kindness and compassion.
