Gail Alice Anderson October 29, 1976 - August 26, 2024

With heavy hearts but deep gratitude for the life she lived, we announce that Gail Alice Anderson has returned home to Heaven. Born on October 29th, 1976, in Johannesburg, South Africa, Gail was a bright light to everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. A beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Gail brought joy, laughter, and love wherever she went.

Gail was a generous, kind, and adventurous soul. She was a faithful servant of Jesus, and her love for the Lord was evident in all that she did. As the leader of the ladies' church group at Blue Saddle Ranch, she poured her heart into nurturing the spiritual growth of those around her. Her compassion extended beyond her immediate circle, reaching the hearts of countless children in homes and orphanages where she made a significant impact over the years. Gail lived as a disciple of Christ every day, and her faith was the foundation of her life.

To those who knew Gail, she was more than words can describe: a brilliant mom, a devoted wife of 19 years to Trevor, a humble and welcoming friend, and someone who had an incredible gift for bringing people together. She loved life with a passion that was infectious. She cherished her coffee dates, her time spent with friends and family, the joy of traveling, and the simple pleasures of a good book or a fresh manicure. She found joy in every moment, especially those spent with her daughters, Hannah Faith and Kristin Grace, and her loving husband, Trevor Oliver Sidney Anderson.

Gail leaves behind her devoted husband, Trevor, her two precious daughters, Hannah Faith and Kristin Grace, her mother, Marthie Phillips, and her sister, Carol Broom. She will be deeply missed by all who were privileged to share in her life.

A celebration of Gail’s life will be held on Saturday, September 7th, at 14h00 at Brackendowns Community Church, 5 Kariba St, Brackendowns, Alberton, South Africa, and at Brushy Creek Baptist Church, 4999 Old Spartanburg Road, Taylors, South Carolina . In honor of Gail’s spirit, we hold fast to the peace she knew so well: “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).

May we all find comfort in the same peace that Gail carried with her, knowing that her light continues to shine in each of us.
