George Chappell Crumley, 87, husband of the late Avo Pace Crumley, went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2014.
Born in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late George Rowland and Lottie Shelnut Crumley. George served in the US Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict, was a retired truck driver, and a member of Wrenn Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are three brothers and one sister, Robert Crumley, Richard Crumley, Troy Crumley, and Joyce Passmore. Predeceased were two brothers and five sisters.
Services will be held on Tuesday, November 18 at CSSC-Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611. Visitation will be from 10am-11am, with the funeral at 11am. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wrenn Memorial Baptist Church, 19 Sydney St., Greenville, SC 29609.
