Gladys Howard Skinner went to be with Jesus on June 22, 2016. She had a heart attack and died at Greenville Memorial Hospital after a very courageous fight. She was born in Greenville County on August 30, 1953. She was the daughter of Clarence Howard and Sallie Howard.

Surviving are daughters: Tonya Padgett (Todd) of Piedmont, and Misty Kelly (Chad) of Mauldin and her companion Cliff Carroll. She had four grandchildren that she loved very much: Savanna, Brayln, Caden, and Charlee. She leaves behind a sister Mary Green (Gene) and brothers: Lewis Howard (Pat), Ervin Howard. Sisters-in-law Jackie Howard, Rita Lewellen (Lewis), Robin McCauley (Alan), and Mother-in-law Mary Skinner.

She was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband of 37 years, David Skinner. Brothers: Marshall Howard, Clinton Howard, Jimmy Howard, and Sister-in-law Beverly Howard.

She had many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and she helped to raise two cousins: Elisha Patterson and Bobby Howard. She loved country music, reading, cooking, helping others, and most of all her family.

Memorial service will be Friday, June 24, 2016 at 4:00pm with visitation being from 3 to 4 pm all held at Cremation Society of SC and Westville Funerals 6010 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611
