Sadness & joy describes this day, April 12, 2025. Gloria Cooper Cisson 88 went home to heaven to be with her Savior Jesus Christ and her loving husband, James Edward Cisson. She was a beautiful soul, a loving wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother & wonderful friend to all. She is greatly loved & will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Pam & Randy Cobb, son, Jimmy Cisson, granddaughter Kelly & David Parris and her most precious great grandson, Parks Parris, and many other nieces and nephews. Our mother had the most beautiful smile and was a ray of sunshine that always made everyone she met feel so special and loved.
She served her Savior, Jesus Christ as a longtime member of New Life Baptist Church. She took so much joy in the Care Card ministry at church, that truly was one of her many gifts. She had a heart that was so full of love and compassion for always helping others and was a living example of what true love is. Her happiness was always centered around her family and serving Jesus. She positively impacted everyone she knew, and now her best life has started. When you think about love, please remember Gloria as she was an inspiration to so many and was love personified.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that memorials be made to New Life Baptist Church, Greenville SC or one’s favorite charity.
Funeral services will be on Friday, 4/18/25 at 2:00 in the Remembrance Chapel Mausoleum at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
