Gonzalo was known for his hardworking nature and a strong love for life. He found immense joy in simple pleasures, such as watching wrestling, keeping pristine grass—ever diligent in ensuring it never faltered—and spending time outdoors. His passion for nature was evident in his love for the mountains and the serene beauty of walking by waterfalls. A cherished place in his heart was Pretty Place in Greenville, SC, where he often sought solace and peace.
He is remembered dearly by his beloved partner Patricia Palm. Their bond was a testament to the strength of love and companionship. Gonzalo was a devoted father to his daughter Beronica Garcia (Tyler), and he took immense pride in his role as a grandfather to Damen and Scarlett Lanning. The warmth he shared with his family fostered an environment of love and support that will continue to Echo through their lives.
Gonzalo was also part of a large and loving family, which included his siblings Florentino (Hortencia), Santos (Patricia), Teresa, Crescencio, Gregorio, Felix, and Jose. He leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who remember him fondly. His mother, Cristina Corono Botho, and his great grandmother, Manuela Cardon Botho, also carry his memory close to their hearts.
He is preceded in death by his father, Sixto Garcia Dominguez, whose spirit lives on in the memories of those who loved him.
