Gordon Wells, Jr., born on May 7, 1943, in Waterbury, Connecticut, passed away on January 17, 2026, in Easley

Gordon served in the Air Force for three years, a commitment reflective of his character and devotion to his country. 

Gordon married Anna Duffy in June 1970 in Waterbury, Connecticut. Gordon is survived by his stepchildren, Marie Ferrucci, Cynthia F. Schiel, Kathy Fortier, Margie Fortier Smail, David Fortier, and Michael Defillio, and his sister, Mary Elizabeth Wells Mosley. He leaves behind a host of friends and family who will remember him fondly for his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support.

He is predeceased by his parents, Gordon Wells, Sr. and Mildred Godfrey Wells, and his stepchild, George Fortier.

A receiving of friends will be held on January 26, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Cremation Society of South Carolina - Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611.
