Born on December 29, 1960, to the late Harold Manuel Andrews Sr. and Mary Nancy Andrews, Buddy grew up surrounded by the love of his family, including his sisters Susan Andrews Munshower, Angie Andrews Welchel, Mary Andrews Carter, and the late Sarah Elizabeth Andrews.

He shared a beautiful and loving marriage with his wife, Ericka Rogers, who stood by his side as a beacon of support and love. Together, they blended a family that included Buddy's daughter, Sarah Brooke Anthony, married to Steven Anthony, their children Mason Anthony and Parker Anthony; and his daughter, Tinsley Blaire Larson, married to Dr. Andrew Larson, and Ericka's sons, Zachary Michael Bryan, and Jordan Robert Bryan. His role as a family man was paramount, and he embraced every moment with his loved ones.
Professionally, Buddy was the proud owner of his own tile company, a business that not only showcased his craftsmanship but also his strong work ethic and dedication to his community.
