Hobert C. Harden, known affectionately as Butch to his friends and family, passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 72 in Clinton, SC. Born on August 11, 1953, in Cullman, AL, Butch was a man whose life was characterized by his loving nature and faith-filled, honorable spirit.

Butch's journey began as the cherished son of Hobert Sr. and Blanche Harden, both of whom preceded him in death. His formative years in Alabama laid the foundation for a life filled with love, hard work, and dedication to family. Butch's heart found its match in Beverly, his devoted wife, with whom he built a life rich in joy and shared purpose. Together, they raised a beautiful family, including their daughter Rilla Griffin, sons Samuel Baker and Matthew Harden, and daughter Rachael Baker. Butch's legacy continued to grow with the addition of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the values he instilled in them, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Butch's sister, Becky Kirk, will fondly remember her brother's unwavering support and kindness, while he joins his late sister, Lynda Parker, in eternal rest. His presence as a pillar of strength and love in the family will be deeply missed.

Professionally, Butch retired as a load logistics manager from Walmart, where his work ethic and leadership were respected by all who had the pleasure of working alongside him. His commitment to his role and the people he worked with was evident in the lasting relationships he built throughout his career.

An ardent supporter of Alabama football, Butch's passion for the game was only matched by his love for fishing and spending time with his beloved pets. These interests were more than hobbies; they were avenues through which he connected with friends, family, and the natural world he so appreciated.

Butch's life was a testament to the virtues of love and faith. He navigated life's challenges with grace and emerged as a beacon of positivity for those around him. His unwavering support and guidance were the bedrock upon which his family stood, and his example of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire those who knew him.

As we bid farewell to Butch, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by the profound impact he had on the lives he touched. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. Butch's journey on earth may have concluded, but his spirit remains a guiding light for us all.
