Jackelean Johnson Dressner, affectionately known as Jackie to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, in Greenville, SC, at the age of 64. Born on June 29, 1961, in Lancaster, SC, Jackie was a beacon of love and selflessness throughout her life, touching the hearts of everyone she met with her fierce spirit.
Jackie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Dressner, her parents, James and Vangalean Johnson, and her brothers, David and Richard Johnson. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her son, Joseph "Joey" Dressner, her life partner and best friend, Charelton "Dea" Bagwell, and her siblings, Christine Burrell, Jerri Head, Irene Johnson, and Shirley Raffalt. Jackie's memory will also be treasured by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and a multitude of friends who will miss her dearly.
A devoted mother and a friend to all, Jackie's passion for life was evident in everything she did. Her love for the beach was unmatched, and she found joy in the simple pleasure of feeling the sand between her toes and listening to the rhythm of the waves. Jackie's love for her son, Joey, was the cornerstone of her existence, and she embraced every moment of motherhood with open arms and a full heart.
Jackie's zest for life shone through in her hobbies. She had a special place in her heart for her dog, "Sugar," who was her constant companion and source of comfort. Her love for motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson, was more than just a pastime; it was a reflection of her free spirit and adventurous soul. A frequent card player, Jackie enjoyed the fun times and friendly competition that came with a good game. A funeral service has been scheduled for Friday October 10, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a chapel service starting at 11:00 AM, this will be held in the chapel at Cremation Society of SC - Westville Funerals, located at 6010 White Horse Rd, Greenville SC, 29611. The burial will follow at 1:00 PM, at Greenville Memorial Gardens, located at 7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont SC, 29673.
