He was a cherished father to his daughters, Rebecca and Jessica Abercrombie, and a doting grandfather to Israel (Bubba) Abercrombie, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life. He is also lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law, Frances Lewallen, and his brother, Sammy Abercrombie. Jimmy was predeceased by his mother, Shirley Abercrombie, his father, Rylan Abercrombie, and his brother, Mike Abercrombie.
Throughout his life, Jimmy was involved in the textile industry, where he formed lasting friendships and earned the respect of his colleagues. He was also an active member of various associations, contributing his time and expertise to the betterment of the industry and community.
Jimmy's passions extended beyond his professional life. He was an avid sports fan, relishing the time spent cheering on his favorite teams.
