James Eugene Smith, 58, passed away February 3, 2023. Born in Greenville, James was a son of the late James C. and Martha B. Smith. He was a founding member of Greenville Evangelistic Church, and spent his career as a carpenter.
Surviving are three children, Chris Smith, Shane Smith (Nate), and Alicia Smith; two grandchildren, Skylar and Leon; a brother, Scott Smith; a half sister, Christy O'Neal; and step mother, Joyce Smith. Predeceased was a brother, Travis Smith.
Services will be held at Greenville Evangelistic Church on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2022. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 PM, with the funeral at 2 PM.
