Jan Fogle Dalonas

Jan Fogle Dalonas passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, after a long illness. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Gregg Dalonas, her parents, James and Beverly Fogle, brother Jeff Fogle (Cindi), sister Lynn Corbin (Walt); five nieces, Rebekah Fogle, Megan Miller (Kyle), Julianna Hunter (Robert), Madelyn Corbin, and Athena Kleckley; and brother-in-law, John Kleckley. Jan was predeceased by sister-in-law, Deidre Dalonas Kleckley.

Jan fought ovarian cancer bravely for 19 years. She received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of South Carolina and taught in the Columbia and Greenville schools for 28 years. The family would like to thank Dr. Larry Puls and his staff for the 19 years of compassionate care to Jan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to South Carolina Ovarian Cancer Foundation, 124 Edinburgh Court, Suite 109, Greenville, SC 29607, and Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 7 Shannon Drive, Greenville, SC 29615.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM in the Commons Area at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 7 Shannon Drive, Greenville, SC 29607.

The memorial service will follow immediately afterward in the church sanctuary at 11:00 AM.
