Janet Kim Sterling, peacefully passed away on December 23, 2025, in Greenville, South Carolina. She was born on July 1, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio, and lived her life filled with love, kindness, humor, and creativity.

As a phlebotomist for over 20 years, Janet's spirit shone brightest through her work, where she made a significant impact on her patients' lives not only by her professional skills but also through her genuine compassion. She had an unparalleled ability to make others feel at ease, sharing her warm smile and laughter even in the most challenging moments.

Beyond her career, Janet was known for her artistic talents and relish for crafting. Her love for knitting, creating various crafts, and making jewelry allowed her to express her creativity in beautiful and meaningful ways. Janet is survived by her son, Richard A. Sterling, and her loving sisters, Debra Quietschke-Wiatt (Henry) and Lynn Huler. She was also a cherished aunt to her niece, Sara Huler, and nephew, Mark Smith. They all hold dear the precious memories of Janet's laughter, her kindness, and the creative spark that lit up their lives.

Janet was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Aaron Lee Sterling, whose memory she carried with her in her heart.
