With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Jeffrey Halloran on July 31, 2025, at the age of 65. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Jeffrey brought warmth, humor, and kindness to every chapter of his life. In later years, he made his home in Greenville, South Carolina, where he found peace among the lush landscapes he came to love so dearly.
Jeffrey was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Dora Stevenson. Their bond was built on mutual love, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion. Together, they created a life filled with laughter, comfort, and enduring partnership.
Known affectionately as a "gentle giant," Jeffrey was cherished for his kind heart, generous spirit, and a sharp sense of humor that brought light into the lives of those around him. He had a special fondness for nature—especially the greenery of South Carolina—and even befriended the local hummingbirds who visited his yard.
Jeffrey dedicated more than 20 years of his life to working with Goodwill Industries, where he earned the respect and affection of colleagues.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jane and Joseph Halloran, and his brother Joseph. He is survived by his siblings Tina Britton, Patty Karlson, his twin brother John Halloran, and Jim Halloran, all of whom carry with them memories of his warmth and laughter.
Jeffrey's legacy is one of compassion, humor, and deep love for the people and world around him. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
