Jeffrey Keith Waldrop, 54, known affectionately as Jeff to his friends and family, passed away on June 30, 2025, in Liberty, South Carolina. Born to the late Sidney and Brenda Brown Waldrop, Jeff's life was one of vibrant creativity, steadfast dedication, and an enduring love for his family and friends.
Jeff's legacy is carried on by his beloved daughter, Courtney Lee Waldrop of Marietta, SC. His memory will also be cherished by his brother, Tony (Angela) Waldrop of Dacusville, SC. Jeff's life was further enriched by the joy and companionship of his many nieces and nephews, as well as his uncles, aunts, and cousins, all of whom he held dear.
A talented painter, Jeff dedicated many years to Waldrop Painting, where his meticulous work and warm camaraderie were well known. Beyond his professional achievements, Jeff's passion for music was a defining aspect of his life. As a drummer, he found solace and joy in the rhythm and beats that he so masterfully created. His musician friends, alongside whom he played for most of his life, will deeply miss his presence behind the drum set, where he truly came alive.
Jeff's life was further blessed by the presence of special friends Melodie Cross, Jane Hofstetter, and Tammy and Kevin Powell.
As we bid farewell to Jeff, we celebrate the remarkable man he was and the indelible mark he has left on our hearts. His spirit, characterized by his love for life and the arts, will continue to inspire us. Jeff's story is not one of an end but a beautiful melody that will resonate in our memories forever.
A visitation will be held from 3 PM, and a memorial service will be held at 4 PM, on July 7, 2025, at the Cremation Society of SC - Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611.
