Joey Dale Jones, also known as "JoJo" or "Jodye" was born on June 17, 1962, in Greenville, SC. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on his parent's wedding anniversary to join their celebration, February 25, 2026, in Easley, SC, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and laughter that will resonate with all who knew him. 

As a retired DIE forklift driver at Magna Drive, Joey was known for his strong work ethic and friendly demeanor. His colleagues and friends fondly remember him not just for his professionalism but for his uplifting personality that brightened the workplace. Joey's love for life was evident in everything he did, whether through his fun-loving spirit or his thoughtful nature.

Joey cherished every moment with his family and fiancée, whether it be spending time watching NASCAR, football (especially Clemson and the Steelers), enjoying the beach, trying new restaurants, or simply being outdoors. He was a lover of life, laughing, and singing. Spending his free time with family was important to him as he loved them most of all. 

He is survived by his fiancée, Pamela Cochran, along with his brothers, Dennis Glenn (Janie R.) Jones and Danny Fred Jones; his sisters Rhonda J. Pharr, Patricia J. (Mike) Berry, and Robin G. (James) Frederick; Stepchildren Michelle (Brandon) Dingler and Chris Fowler. As well as numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved sidekick conure parrot, Kicker, each of whom held a special place in his heart. 

Joey was preceded in death by his parents, Betty J. Jones and James F. Jones; nephew, Dennis J. Jones; great niece, Jessica D. Jones; niece, Jeannie R. Dalton; brother-in-law Rainer (Bo) Pharr, and one stepson Tommy Fowler. 

A Funeral Service to honor Joey's life will take place on March 4, 2026, at Unity Baptist Church of Greenville, located at 12 Piney Rd, Greenville, SC 29611. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. The service will begin at 1:00 PM, concluding at 2:15 PM with interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery at 3:00 pm. 

As we remember Joey Dale Jones, let us celebrate the warmth, joy, and laughter he brought into our lives. His selfless spirit and loving nature will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
