He began his professional life with General Motors, where his talent quickly became evident. His drive and ambition then took him to Audi, where he served as an executive, shaping the future of the automotive industry with his innovative ideas and leadership.

In time, John's entrepreneurial spirit led him to venture into the world of business ownership. He became the owner of a BMW motorcycle dealership, combining his love for engineering with his passion for motorcycles.

John's creativity found another outlet in photography, a pursuit that allowed him to capture the world through his unique lens. His photographs were not just images but stories.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Dawn Horner, who was his partner in every aspect of life. His brothers, Jim Horner (and wife Linda) and Tom Horner, will remember him as a guiding light and a source of unwavering support. His cousins, David and Catherine Greer, their children Jacob and Walter, will cherish the memories of the times they shared.
