Johnny was the cherished husband of Pamela Pearson, whose companionship and devotion were a constant source of strength throughout their years together. He was a devoted father to Aiyana Pearson, Tosha Moody, and Shannon Pearson. His family tree grew ever richer with the addition of his beloved son-in-law Michael Medlock and daughter-in-law Angela White. Johnny’s role as a grandfather was one he cherished deeply, finding joy in the lives of Chris Moody, Cannion Pearson, Eyan Pearson, and Miley White. He was also blessed to be a great-grandfather to sweet Delilah Moody, a source of new light and laughter in his later years.

Johnny’s devotion to his family extended to his siblings: sisters Vickie Norris, Tonya Hopkins, and Christy Pearson, and brothers Dan, OO, Dale, and David Pearson. In the spirit of independence and family, he went on to start his own painting business alongside his brother Dan Pearson—a venture that was not only a professional milestone but also a labor of love.

In addition to his professional achievements, Johnny’s passions gave color and vibrancy to his life outside of work. He delighted in riding his Harley, embracing the freedom of the open road with characteristic enthusiasm. Johnny was a talented wood carver, finding tranquility and creativity in his craft. An ardent animal lover, he nurtured doves, guinea quails, and finches, as well as lovingly tending to his treasured fish tank. These hobbies brought him peace and joy, and those who knew him often found themselves drawn into his gentle world.

The fabric of Johnny’s character was woven with devotion, kindness, and heartfelt passion—traits that resonated in every relationship and endeavor.
