Joseph Brevard Moss “Joe” passed away at the age of 82 on Monday 4/6/25. He fought a hard fight but Jesus was ready to welcome him home because he was just that awesome.

He was born and grew up in Greenville and graduated from  Greenville HS. He spent most of his career at JE Sirrine and also worked for Georgia Pacific and GPMP in Greer, SC. He worked tirelessly for his family and they were always well provided for.

He married Margaret Price (Terry) in 1964 and they set out to build a life and a family.

He loved Jesus, his wife, his kids, his grands and great grands, his dogs, hamburgers and the Doobie Brothers (order may vary on the day)

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Terry Moss, his children Kelly Inabinet (Craig), Kara Alexander (Eric), Josh Moss (Ashley). His grandchildren Jessie, Kelsey, Jackson, Emily, Kylie, Kaitlyn, Mattilyn, 3 great grandchildren and two brothers Van Moss and Stone Moss ( Mary Beth). He is predeceased by his parents MV and Fay Moss and his brother Cliff Moss. 

The family will hold a celebration of life on Thursday 4/9 at Mauldin Methodist Church at 2pm with visitation to follow. Please leave a note of fond remembrance of Joe, we would love to hear your stories!
