Juan Jose Flores, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026. Born on October 26, 1985, Juan lived a life marked by warmth, creativity, and boundless compassion. He will be remembered with deep affection by those who knew him for his funny, friendly, and intelligent nature, as well as his adventurous and courageous spirit.

A graduate of Manhattan University with a degree in Psychology, Juan applied his analytical mind and passionate heart not only to his education but also throughout his career in Sales and Hospitality. His work was marked by a genuine connection with people, reflecting the compassionate support system he was for everyone around him.

Juan's love for life was evident in his many interests and hobbies. He was an avid hiker who cherished the woods, the beach, and the ocean—places where his adventurous soul found peace and inspiration. A self-taught musician, Juan mastered both the guitar and ukulele, pouring his creativity into writing music that resonated with all types of audiences. He had a profound love of all kinds of music and was himself a talented artist, with his drawings and paintings displayed in numerous venues where he earned several awards. His artistic talents, coupled with a deep love for literature, made him an avid reader who always sought to learn more and share his insights.

Juan's passion extended to his love of food and travel, embracing cultures across the world with enthusiasm and delight. Whether savoring new culinary experiences or making friends wherever he went, Juan's kindness and openness created lasting bonds.

He was a devoted companion to his dog, Ren, and treasured his family and friends above all. Those who survive Juan include his loving mother, Elizabeth Flores; his sisters Maria E. Amado (Edgardo) and Veronica Jasinski (James); his niece Lina and nephew Alexander; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and his grandmother. He also leaves behind family in El Salvador, who hold his memory close in their hearts.

Juan’s gentle, passionate, and compassionate nature enriched the lives of all who had the privilege to know him. Though his presence will be deeply missed, his spirit endures in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched with kindness and creativity.
