Judy Ann Avery, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on May 31, 2026. Born on April 1, 1950, Judy dedicated her life to those she loved, living with a spirit marked by kindness, gentleness, and selflessness that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Judy’s warmth and loving nature were evident in every aspect of her life. She was a woman who found joy in simple pleasures—the soothing embrace of the beach, the challenge of puzzles, and the timeless melodies of Elvis and Conway. Her beloved cat, aptly named "Trouble," was a cherished companion who mirrored the playful and tender parts of her heart.
Known for her friendly demeanor and gentle soul, Judy's presence was a calming influence to those around her. Her selflessness and enduring love were the cornerstones of her family’s happiness, and her legacy lives on brightly through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Tina and Michelle Williams, and her loving sons, Terry and Michael. Judy was also the proud grandmother of Kayla, Chevy, Kim, Heather, Nickie, and Tyler, who, along with her eleven great-grandchildren, were the light of her life and a testament to her enduring love.
A visitation will be held on June 6, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cremation Society of South Carolina - Westville Funerals located at 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611. Following this, a funeral service will commence at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the same location to honor and remember Judy's beautiful life.
Judy Ann Avery’s gentle spirit and loving heart will be deeply missed, yet her memory will forever reside in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and kindness that will continue to inspire.
