Judy was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Irby (John) and her parents, William Joe Peterson and Thelma Elizabeth Leatherwood Peterson. Her spirit will be carried on by her adoring daughter, Sherry Richardson (Napoleon), and her treasured grandchildren Keyenna Garrison (Ivan), Tiffany Sims, Kent E. Washington (Ashley), Kevin Nash (Ivory), Gary Thompson II, Gabrielle Richardson, Kennedy Richardson, and Kelsey Richardson. Judy's great-grandchildren, Kamdyn Sims, Kenya Washington, Amir Washington, Ian Page, Gary Thompson III, and Ivan Page, will grow up hearing stories of her kindness and grace.
Judy's life was enriched by the presence of her special nieces and nephews, Gregory (Pepa) Peterson, Brady (Alma) Williams, Tonmaneka Peterson, and her grand nephew Bentley Williams, who all held a special place in her heart.
